The Nordic Healthcare Group’s Benchmarking tool gives social- and healthcare service providers the opportunity to analyse their activities and compare their operations to others. NHG’s benchmarking data dashboard’s facilitate the implementation of change and generate data about the productivity and quality of different approaches to support management.

Initially this was a UX project which required the creation of a new design system with visual guidelines. As the first designer to work on Benchmarking I had to consider not only visual design, but also usability and accessibility (especially in relation to colour choice and contrast). The dashboards use Microsoft Power BI which had to be considered as it carries its own limitations.

Additional to the UX side of the project, a documentation process was created to allow the multiple teams working on various dashboards to communicate and document information more seamlessly. Both the working processes as well as the design system are cyclically tested to ensure they are suitable for purpose.
